OMG 😱 This book has me feeling so many emotions that my head is spinning I'm hanging on the cliff of despair. Nicolas and Olivia have a past but what's the future holds for them is to be determined. I absolutely loved this story. The storyline was so interesting that it completely captivated me and was so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading it until I finished with the very last word. I really loved the book and the characters. Had a hard time putting it down and wanted to find out what happened next. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Alice is a college freshmen and Hudson one of her sweet mates is also her ex-boyfriend. They broke up a few short weeks ago and the last thing she expected was to run into him much less live with him. You can imagine what a nightmare that would be. I received an Arc copy of the book and am volunteering to leave a review.

Highly Emotional Read

This book by Charlotte Byrd is an emotionally touching story of Alice Summers and Hilton Hudso, who had been childhood friends and high school boyfriend/girlfriend who abruptly broke up prior to attending college after a two year relationship. Once at college, they find themselves assigned to the same suite of rooms and must learn to become friends again even with broken hearts. Charlotte Byrd has written a heartfelt tale of young love with a gamete of feelings from intense emotions, drama, and steamy chemistry As these amazing characters struggle to find a new path in life. Alice and Hilton’s story continues in the second book of this duet entitled Still Not Into You. I received a free arc in return for an honest and voluntary review.

Heartbreakingly angsty and beautifully raw

Charlotte Byrd amazed me with this heart wrenching story about heartbreak and the painful process of moving on from a relationship. Alice and Hudson have known each other their entire lives and had been in a relationship for two years before Hudson broke up with Alice out of the blue. Moving to New York City and going to Columbia University has been Alice’s (and Hudson’s) dream but she’s in for a surprise when she discovers Hudson is one of her new roommates. I loved the depiction on their love-hate relationship and how accurate it was to relationships my friends and I underwent in high school and are experiencing now in college. Coming out of high school and into college freshly out of a relationship is difficult, especially when you still love your former significant other. Alice cannot deny that she still loves Hudson (and neither can he) and would like to have him in her life as a friend because she knows she needs to discover who she is without him. They bring witty banter, fits of jealousy, [sexual] tension, intense emotions and all the angst. I could not help the heartache and angst I felt with every conversation between Alice and Hudson, knowing they weren’t going to pursue their relationship and were trying desperately to move on. I sympathized so much with Alice that at times I did just wish for her to move on and show Hudson what he willingly gave up. The twists and consuming tensions were almost unbearable at times. I adored the friendships between each character and the support they provided each other; the secondary characters varied from lovable to detestable yet gave more life and depth to the plot. I’m eagerly anticipating the conclusion to the duet and cannot wait to see how Alice and Hudson’s story will end.

This book just draws in. You can’t help but love it. Fantastic.

I positively loved this book. It makes you feel like you’re in the dorm room with them watching everything unfold. What’s worse than your boyfriend breaking up with you? Your boyfriend breaking up with you and finding out he is one of your suite mates at college.Disaster in the making, big time. This book definitely keeps you on your toes and you cannot put it down. Will Alison and Hudson move on from each other or are they too much in love to let each other get away again. Especially when Hudson tells Alice he still loves her. What a mess. With every page you read you’ll be saying oh no, oh no, oh no. The thank you notes tell it all. It adds so much to the story. This book has more highs and lows than the stock market. excellent!

Charlotte Byrd amazed me with this heart wrenching story about heartbreak and the painful process of moving on from a relationship. Alice and Hudson have known each other their entire lives and had been in a relationship for two years before Hudson broke up with Alice out of the blue. Moving to New York City and going to Columbia University has been Alice’s (and Hudson’s) dream but she’s in for a surprise when she discovers Hudson is one of her new roommates. I loved the depiction on their love-hate relationship and how accurate it was to relationships my friends and I underwent in high school and are experiencing now in college. Coming out of high school and into college freshly out of a relationship is difficult, especially when you still love your former significant other. Alice cannot deny that she still loves Hudson (and neither can he) and would like to have him in her life as a friend because she knows she needs to discover who she is without him. They bring witty banter, fits of jealousy, [sexual] tension, intense emotions and all the angst. I could not help the heartache and angst I felt with every conversation between Alice and Hudson, knowing they weren’t going to pursue their relationship and were trying desperately to move on. I sympathized so much with Alice that at times I did just wish for her to move on and show Hudson what he willingly gave up. The twists and consuming tensions were almost unbearable at times. I adored the friendships between each character and the support they provided each other; the secondary characters varied from lovable to detestable yet gave more life and depth to the plot. I’m eagerly anticipating the conclusion to the duet and cannot wait to see how Alice and Hudson’s story will end.

This book just draws in. You can’t help but love it. Fantastic.

I positively loved this book. It makes you feel like you’re in the dorm room with them watching everything unfold. What’s worse than your boyfriend breaking up with you? Your boyfriend breaking up with you and finding out he is one of your suite mates at college.Disaster in the making, big time. This book definitely keeps you on your toes and you cannot put it down. Will Alison and Hudson move on from each other or are they too much in love to let each other get away again. Especially when Hudson tells Alice he still loves her. What a mess. With every page you read you’ll be saying oh no, oh no, oh no. The thank you notes tell it all. It adds so much to the story. This book has more highs and lows than the stock market. excellent!
